First time for everything (makes for a long flashback)

Well I have not been as diligent as I have meant to be. My B. I will say that I have had a lot of firsts.
I caught tadpoles for the first time with my friend Cambra at Egin Lakes!
Had the first weekend of my college career when non of the roommates were home.
First time that I actually got a rock to skip four times :]
First time to have a gourmet smore. It was a just a regular smore with a fresh strawberry added to it. Yum! Dang blasted genius deliciousness!

Learned how to play the cords G, C, D and A on the guitar-on my way to getting my first guitar!
Hiked the Palasides for the first time. The perfect day hike! (Just we have to learn to go earlier than 3:30 because it takes 4 hours to hike up, but only 1 to hike down...) Hiking=pure bliss! You just get in touch with nautre, especially when you see strange snakes that look like giant earth worms. But the hike consisted of green forests, thundering rivers, six bridges and rocky cliffs. Beautiful.

^The final destination of the hike

^The bridge view on our lunch break

^I cut my dirt covered leg.

^The shrubbery and air was so thick! It made my soul happy.
First time that I lit a firework. It was a roman candle :] Thank you Michael Kidd!

^That isn't from lighting them, it is a picture of fireworks I watched on the 3rd, but I wanted to throw one in here somewhere and thought this would be a slightely appropriate place :]
I watched the Fantastic Mr. Fox and Edward Scissor Hands for the first time.
It is also the first time in my life that I love poetry. I joined a group of individuals around a camp fire and was enlightened to the beauty of verse. I wish I could form words together to make a inspiring and heart felt poem. My two favorire poems right now are INVICTUS by William Ernest Henley and KEEPING THINGS WHOLE by Mark Strand.

To walk in these shoes......

Yes, this is my wish list of shoes for the moment. I can't help but love TOMS with their handmade look. If only I could afford to buy another pair.....
